Project Description:
In 2023 the Will County Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority (WCMEAA) hired R. Berti as General Contractor for a project to provide masonry stabilization and a new roofing system for their entire building. Once this project was complete the WCMEAA hired R. Berti to renovate and construct new Men’s and Women’s restrooms for the theater. The restroom project was the fourth project that R. Berti was hired to perform.
R. Berti converted one set of existing Men’s/Women’s restrooms into a larger space for just the Women. They also converted an unused storage space on the other side of the Rotunda into a new restroom for Men. The Men’s side had a large change in grade that required the installation of an ADA compliant ramp for the entrance off of the main floor level. The bathrooms were designed and built to maintain the historical aspect of the Theater and provide all new and exquisite finishes for patrons. The project was completed in six months.
