RICH BERTI / President
Rich graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Operations Management. After graduation, he worked for the McDonald's Corporation as a Safety Engineer for their international projects for 4 years. Rich then returned to R. Berti in 1997 to retain ownership of the family operated company. He has helped to direct an overall increase in business operations since taking over. He is very active in day-to-day activities of the company, including estimating, sales and establishing business relationships with clients. Rich serves as Chairman of the Joliet Junior College Construction Technology Committee; is Past-President of the Shorewood Exchange Club; and is a Trustee for the Will County Carpenters Local 174 Health, Welfare and Pension Funds. He resides in Shorewood, Illinois with his wife and two children.

TOM GROTOVSKY / Operations Manager
Starting in the construction industry in 1981, Tom provides a depth of experience in his role as Operations Manager for R. Berti. Tom provides pre-construction, construction and post-construction services for clients of R. Berti. These services consist of estimating, competitive subcontractor bidding, purchasing and awarding of subcontracts, scheduling, expediting and establishing on-site lines of authority to implement and carry out the various project construction plans, and conducting progress meetings. Tom is past Chairman of the Contractors Association of Will and Grundy Counties, and currently serves as a board member. He is a Trustee of the Three Rivers Construction Alliance, and is a member of the Illinois Construction Industry Committee. Tom also serves on the boards of the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will and Grundy Counties.

MICHAEL JUDY / Staff Accountant
Michael graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy. He joined the team of R. Berti in January 2007, enhancing its accounting capabilities and allowing it to operate with greater efficiency and fiscal accuracy. Michael's main duties consist of handling the monthly billings, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and taxes. He works closely with the operations manager and estimating department to ensure all projects are billed in a complete and timely manner. In addition to his accounting duties, Michael also acts as the office manager, HR manager, and assists the estimating department in the bidding process.

JOE KOZLOWSKI / Project Manager
Joe graduated from Western Illinois University in the fall of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. Beginning his construction career as a pipefitter, Joe joined R. Berti in August 2008 working as a project manager, coordinating and overseeing projects from start to finish. His main responsibilities include overseeing projects day-to-day to ensure work is being completed in an efficient and timely manner. Joe also provides assistance in coordinating changes to projects, and solves any challenges that may arise, so projects progress within budget and schedule.
